Functioning in Kollam Kerala since 2013, Agape Center is a registered charitable Trust which has evolved as a child-focused organization, dedicating its efforts to addressing difficult issues facing children and supporting their overall development and well-being.
Agape Center as a welfare and social upliftment Trust started functioning in the city of Kollam from September 2013. As a registered NGO, we began with many objectives but right from the start, our activities began to lean towards child upliftment and child care. We really got involved in school life skill programs (which does not happen throughout the year, though) and in the area of counselling especially with issues related to children and youth. Our team of counsellors and health professionals did a remarkable work in this field of work and won accolades from the district authorities.
Koode is a resource center created in response to a growing social
need. Families of children with special needs often face
challenges like confusion about their child's development,
emotional stress, and not knowing where to find help. Delays in
getting the right support can lead to missed opportunities for
early intervention, which is crucial for a child's growth and
family well-being.
Koode ensures early screening, connects parents to proper
therapies, and helps families understand their child's needs to
take the right steps at the right time. It strives to be a trusted
point of contact, offering guidance, emotional support, and a
sense of community for families who often feel alone.
